Development Program - Fall/Winter/Spring

The development program is for high school athletes with rowing experience who aspire to row competitively. The focus is on fitness, strength and mobility, and technical skills, with an eye toward future tryouts. Lead coaches work closely with their competitive team counterparts to develop a training plan and track the progress of each athlete over the course of the season.

Pre-requisites: You must be in grades 8-11*, and have more than 8 weeks of rowing experience from one or more of the following programs: Fall/Spring Learn to Row and/or Crew League, Summer Skills Development, and/or competitive varsity or novice team experience.

This is the perfect rowing experience for those athletes who were not selected to our varsity or novice teams, but want to prepare themselves for competitive rowing in the future. Placement in the intermediate development program will be determined at varsity or novice tryouts.
