At Home Fitness

Welcome to CRI! Our 'At Home Fitness' programs offer a unique experience for rowers of all experiences to build fitness, improve technique, and stay connected to our CRI community. Whether indoor rowing, yoga, strength, or mobility sessions our onsite and online/virtual programs are a great opportunity to build or maintain fitness any season of the year.

Strength & Conditioning with Tom Siddall (Boathouse & Online)

Stay healthy and get stronger this winter with Tom! As a certified personal trainer, he will guide you through assessing your movement patterns, measuring your strength/power, and building up your body for peak performance come Springtime!

  • Advanced Strength & Conditioning - December - at CRI Mon/Wed/Fri 6:30 or 8:30 AM (limited to 5 participants per class)
  • Strength & Conditioning - December - Online - Tues/Thurs 6:30 AM 

 

Row & Flow Yoga w/ Anna Juraschek (Online)

This course is for those rowers with a regular yoga practice, who are looking to consider yoga with a view to rowing. The goals of this course include improved flexibility, core strength, kinesthetic/somatic awareness, injury prevention, and mental focus. Practice will include breath work, static physical postures, and movement. This class meets online.

TPR: Technique/Power/Results with John Smith and Anna (Online)

Did you scull with us this spring? Join us this winter and prepare to dominate in the spring. Close-up coaching, video, drills, and other technique work will translate directly to on-the-water comfort & performance having you row more effectively, powerfully & efficiently in the spring. This class meets online.

Yoga for Rowers w/ Anna Juraschek (Online)

This course is designed for beginners and will look at the major muscles involved in the four phases of the rowing stroke through the lens of yoga. Participants will learn proper alignment and basic sequencing to strengthen their bodies and improve flexibility. Experienced practitioners are also welcome to attend. This class meets online.

Youth Crew League (Boathouse & Online)

On land, training offers young rowers the opportunity to work on balance, core strength, and flexibility - all important in developing good rowing technique. Note: every week one day of the practice will be virtual over Zoom, and the second day will be in person at the boathouse.
