Housing and Packing Information

Summer Nationals Team Accommodations: $2,500.00                                                                                                                                                              

June 17 - July 9

Move In: Sunday, June 17 

  • 12 PM - 6 PM
  • Airport pick-ups will be coordinated at 12 PM, 3 PM and 6 PM

Move Out: Monday, July 9

  • From July 9 to July 16, the team will travel to Mercer, NJ and athletes will move out of housing and store luggage securely at Lasell College
  • Airport drop-offs will be coordinated based on departing flights
  • The last airport drop-off will be no later than 6 PM on July 16

Housing Information

  • Housing in a double occupancy, air conditioned dorm room

  • The cost of housing in addition to program fees

  • 3 meals per day; all you can eat; athlete performance menu; through Lasell College dining services.

  • Supervised evening and weekend activities during “down time” on campus
  • 4th of July event with the team (the chaperones will provide a fun event to relax and enjoy the 4th in Boston).
  • For an additional charge of $25, Lasell College will provide Bed Linens, a full Towel set; and Blankets.  The additional charge is incurred every time linens are exchanged.
  • Housing extensions are permitted only for those athletes moving on to the Henley Performance Squad.  Extended housing for unenrolled athletes is prohibited.
  • Most athletes should plan to pack no more than 2 suitcases/duffle bags for this program

NOTE: There is no financial assistance available for housing in this program 

 

Henley Performance Squad Accommodations:  $1,990

Move In: Sunday, July 15

  • Athletes will be dropped off at Lasell College and assigned rooms after Club Nationals

Move Out:  Monday, August 13

  • Airport drop-offs will be coordinated based on departing flights
  • The last airport drop-off will be no later than 6 PM on August 13
  • Housing extensions are not permitted beyond move out day

Community Rowing CYS Packing List

Rowing Kit:

  • rowing unis and/or pairs of rowing trau

  • socks (at least 5 pairs: 2 or more should be non-cotton: Smartwool or other sport fabrics are good)

  • training shirts - (at least 2 should be non cotton – tech fabric or the like)

  • long sleeve warm layer tech shirts – (Under Armor or something similar)

  • splash jacket

  • leggings - (Under Armor or something similar)

  • sport underwear - (Under Armor or something similar)

  • flip flop/sandals

  • running/land training shoes

  • hat

  • sunglasses

  • sunscreen

  • water bottle

 Dorm Kit:

For clothing – we will have access to laundry facilities, so please pack at least 5 sets of (shirts/blouse, pants, shorts, dresses/skirts, socks, underwear, etc) as applies to you. Please bring at least  one outfit of ‘nice’ clothes (dress, button down and khakis/dress pants, or blouse-skirt combo); these don’t have to be super fancy, just suitable for more formal occasions. Also, please be sure to bring:

  • jacket, sweater, other warm layers – even though it’s summer, it can get cool in Boston sometimes

  • rain jacket

  • at least 1 pair close-toed shoes other than your running/land training sneakers

  • toiletries

  • wallet and ID

  • cell phone and charger (as if you’d forget it)

Most athletes should expect to bring no more than 2 suitcases/duffle bags

We will have a fair amount of downtime on campus, so recommend you bring things like:

  • Frisbee, soccer ball, vortex, etc

  • Books/reading material

  • Laptop and anything else you’ll need to do any summer school work (especially for those of you who will be taking the SAT prep course)
