Plan your event in a venue that is as special as your celebration! Explore the venue and spaces CRI has to offer when hosting your event, whether it’s a wedding, party, reunion, or more.
CRI’s stunning Harry Parker Boathouse is located on the banks of the Charles River in Boston. With beautiful balconies overlooking the water and windows that frame the setting sun and provide a stunning 180 degree view of the river, CRI has one of the most elegant and inviting spaces in Boston. The maximum capacity for rentals is 200 persons. The Harry Parker Boathouse is fully accessible to all, with one elevator to the second floor and handicapped-accessible restrooms.
Our outdoor space is also available to rent for events with a capacity of more than 500, depending on schedule and availability. Our 40’ x 70’ tent can easily host 200. Positioned right on the scenic Charles River, this space may include the party tent, our docks, and the pavilion between boathouses.
CRI’s venue and spaces offer the opportunity to fully customize your event. Rentals begin at $6,500.

Services included:
- On-site facility manager
- On-site cleaning person
- Coordination of DCR special use permit
- Site visits for you and your vendors
- Coordination of State Police detail when alcohol will be present

- 20 round tables, 5′ diameter, seating 8 each (10 maximum)
- 6 rectangular tables, 8′ long, approximately 2.5′ wide, seating 8-10 each
- 170 folding white wooden chairs, cushioned seats
- On-site interior A/V equipment


Kitchen & Catering
- CRI maintains a galley kitchen with noncommercial appliances, including a refrigerator.
- CRI works exclusively with The Sauce Cocktails and Catering for all planning and catering of on-site private events. View their menu here.
- We require that any caterer be licensed in accordance with Massachusetts Department of Health regulations.
Required Private Event Permits:
Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Special Use Permit (organized by CRI)
One Day Liquor License from the City of Boston (Organized by Client/Caterer)
Community Rowing, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. However, payments made for private event bookings are not considered tax-deductible contributions.
