Row Boston - High School Rowing

Row Boston is the competitive team for high school and middle school students in the Boston Public Schools.

The team trains for fall, winter, and spring regattas across New England. Student-athletes compete in either the novice or varsity level of competitions based on their level of experience. Student athletes have access to weekly winter swimming sessions, collegiate-level indoor rowing tanks, and a fleet of cutting-edge rowing shells.

In addition to excellent athletic coaching, Row Boston provides student-athletes with one-on-one tutoring during each season. The team supports the student-athletes' academic progress and goals of graduation. The team visits colleges and universities in New England, New York City, and the Tri-State Area. The coaching staff and academic consultants of the team provide student-athletes with guidance to graduation, mentorship, and a lifelong supportive community.

Students interested in joining the team can contact Boys' Head Coach Janice Hagerman (janice.hagerman@communityrowing.org) or Girls' Head Coach Mychiah Teach (mychiah.teach@communityrowing.org). Coaches will share all information about practice times, location, and transportation to interested athletes and parents.
