Each September, we look forward to bringing rowers together at the Harry Parker Boathouse.

The CRI Fall Classic Regatta is an early-season 3-mile Charles River Head Race on a buoyed course supervised by USRowing referees. Rowers of all ages and abilities are welcome to compete. Medals are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes. On-site registration opens at 8:00am.

All proceeds from the regatta support CRI’s work in accessibility and inclusion. Sponsorship opportunities are available. If you or your company are interested, please reach Shawn Cote, Director of Development.

Registration opens in July. Please reach Kane Larin, Director of Operations, with any questions.

Are you coming to the regatta? Here’s what you need to know:

  • The CRI parking lot will be CLOSED TO ALL CARS. Only boat trailers with a parking pass will be allowed in. Car toppers will need to drop boats and park off-site.
  • There is no athlete or spectator drop-off at CRI. Please drop-off athletes and/or spectators at Squibnocket Park located on North Beacon Street, right before the North Beacon Street Bridge.
  • This is a quick and safe walk to CRI.
  • Food trucks and catered meals are available for purchase.
