Wellness Resources

Our Community Supporting our Community

CRI has created a resource team to offer support for our community’s physical and mental well-being. You may have questions about mental health/treatment or are looking for medical input on training tweaks or aches. Access to these resources is available to anyone in our community (e.g., rowers, parents, CRI staff).

For Medical and Physical Support

CRI is a preferred partner at Children’s Hospital for any rowing-related physical issue for our adults and youth. This means any member of the CRI community can be seen by a referring medical professional within 48 hours of your inquiry. This program is brought to us by the generous support of Dr. Kate Ackerman who is the Medical Director for the Female Athlete Program in the Division of Sports Medicine at Childrens and is also the USRowing Team Physician for the US National Team.
