Paul Carberry

Grants and Foundation Manager

Paul Carberry joined CRI in October 2019. He worked in higher education for more than 30 years, most of that time at Bentley University. At Bentley, he served on the staffs of two presidents and was corporate secretary for 20 years.

As Director of Foundation Relations, he managed the university’s partnerships with private foundations and also worked with corporatefoundations and government agencies. He led or was part of teams that secured major commitments from the Yawkey Foundations, the Davis Educational Foundation, the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, the Geneen Charitable Trust, the National Biomedical Research Foundation, the EY Foundation, UTC Corporation, the State Street Foundation, Santander Universities and the National Endowment for the Humanities. He also has extensive experience with other aspects of fundraising, communications and external relations.

Paul also has extensive volunteer board experience. He is currently a trustee of Bridgton Academy and formerly served on the board of the South Shore Charter Public School, the Parents Advisory Council at Boston College High School and was president of the Alumni Association of Franklin & Marshall College.
