Raphi Tayvah

Para and Military Coordinator, Row Boston Academic Coordinator

Raphi found rowing as a coxswain at Smith College around the same time they became a student activist for disability rights. While fighting for equal access to necessary accommodations on campus and a spot on Smith’s varsity boat, Raphi experienced first hand how diversity benefits the rowing world.

After college, they coached a broad spectrum of athletes for Row New York’s competitive and community programs before joining CRI’s team in the fall of 2018.

As Para and Military Manager at CRI, Raphi oversees day-to-day operations of both programs, ensuring each athlete and coach has the support they need to excel. In addition, they coordinate academic success programming for Row Boston and coach the CRI Competitive Women.
