Karl Harshe

Karl Began his rowing career in the Fall of 2005 at Michigan State University, where he walked on. After making the top freshman boat in the Spring and the top varsity boat the following Fall, he became an assistant to the Novice Head Coach and coxed the 2nd Novice 8+ in the Spring of 2007.

He bgan his competitive career as a lightweight the following Fall and continued through graduation and on the the Riverside Boat Club, where he joined the High Performance Group with natioanl team aspirations. An injury in the Spring of 2011 casued Karl to return to coaching and led him to CRI, where he enrolled in  the Institute for Rowing Leadership and began assistant coaching for the Novice Boys program. Karl then spent his summer as the assistant to the US Men's Lightweight 8+, which took bronze at the World Championships. From his degrees in physics and statistics, to management of his collegiate club, Karl brings a diverse background to CRI.
