CB Sands-Bohrer

Senior Manager of Coach Education

CB's focus is on the coach development process as she works with the entire CRI coaching staff, the IRL fellows, and the larger coaching community to provide educational opportunities.

Through program feedback systems, training all coaches at CRI through CRI Coach Certification, and her work with the IRL in multiple capacities, she provides opportunities for coaches to improve and grow.

CB has 30+ years of rowing and coaching experience and is an eight-time National Team member, winning gold at the World Championships in the lightweight double sculls in 1986 and 1989 and bronze in 1984 and 1987. CB was inducted into the National Rowing Foundation Hall of Fame in 1997 and recognized again by the NRF in 2000. In addition to her work at CRI, CB coaches the Junior Boys and Girls at Cambridge Boat Club and has previously been a guest coach at Northeast Rowing and the Craftsbury Rowing Center.
